How the Equality & Anti-Discrimination Score Is Calculated

The overall score is a weighted average across five indicators. Nomadino calculates: gender equality × 0.35 + women's rights and equality × 0.20 + anti-discrimination protection × 0.20 + minority rights protection × 0.15 + everyday discrimination risk × 0.10.

Anti-discrimination protection: 20%
Minority rights protection: 15%
Everyday discrimination risk: 10%

This board separates outcome equality, women rights, broad anti-discrimination protection, minority protection and practical everyday risk. That keeps one broad index from dominating the result while legal equality, protection mechanisms and lived safety remain visible.

Gender equality receives the highest weight because it captures the broadest outcome dimension. Women rights and anti-discrimination protection each carry 20 percent because concrete rights, remedies and enforcement are decisive. Minority protection and everyday risk add the practical perspective without overwhelming the structure.
