2. Purpose and basic principles

Nomadino is an information portal for country comparisons, location factors, living costs, infrastructure, climate and related editorial content. The website does not provide user accounts, login areas, personalised profiles or paid member functions.

Nomadino currently does not use advertising networks, social media pixels, Google Analytics, affiliate tracking or profiling for advertising purposes. Personal data is processed only where it is technically necessary for delivering the website, for consent-based privacy-friendly internal statistics or for handling contact requests.

3. Hosting and website access

This website is hosted on a server in the European Union. When you access the site, technically necessary connection data is processed so the requested page can be delivered to your browser. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status, referrer and browser or device information.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in providing a stable, secure and error-free website. Nomadino does not use this technical access data for advertising or personal user profiling.

4. Local fonts

This website uses the fonts Fraunces and Space Grotesk. The font files are stored locally on the server and loaded from there. No connection is made to Google Fonts or another external font service for this purpose.

5. Consent management, cookies and local storage

Nomadino uses the locally hosted Tarteaucitron consent manager to manage services that require consent. Tarteaucitron may store a technically necessary cookie containing your consent choices. This cookie is used to remember your selection on later page views.

In addition, the setting nomadino_no_track may be stored in your browser's localStorage when you disable internal statistics through the opt-out function. If you delete cookies or browser storage, these settings may be lost.

6. Page view analytics

To understand how the website is used and which pages need improvement, Nomadino collects limited internal page view data only after consent through the cookie manager. No analytics cookies are set and no persistent personal identifier is stored.

What is stored:

• The visited URL path, for example /en/countries/georgia/
• The referrer domain transmitted by the browser, if available
• A daily rotating, shortened SHA-256 hash derived from the IP address; the original IP address is not stored in the page view table
• The timestamp of the page view

What is not stored for analytics: full IP addresses, browser fingerprints, geolocation data, analytics cookies or advertising identifiers.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through the privacy settings.

Retention: Raw page view analytics data is automatically deleted after 120 days. Aggregated statistics may be retained without personal reference.

7. Contact form and email contact

If you contact Nomadino through the contact form or by email, the information you provide is processed to handle the request. This may include name, email address, subject, message, the related page, technical delivery information, a shortened daily IP hash and the user agent transmitted by the browser.

The processing is used to answer your request and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request is pre-contractual or contract-like, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communication and security. Email messages are delivered through the configured email infrastructure.

8. External links and sources

Nomadino links to external sources, authorities, databases and information pages. You leave Nomadino only when you click an external link. The respective external provider is responsible for data processing on external websites.

9. Search engines and Search Console

Nomadino provides public pages and sitemaps to search engines. Google Search Console is used to evaluate indexing and search performance. No Google Analytics script and no Google visitor tracking script is embedded on Nomadino for this purpose.

10. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated when technical functions, data processing activities or legal requirements change.
