This ranking compares average relative humidity. The raw value shows humidity in percent; values in the broad comfort range around 45 to 60 percent score best. Very dry and very humid climates receive lower ratings because they can make everyday conditions less comfortable.

How the Raw Value Is Calculated

The raw value is the estimated annual average relative humidity in percent. It describes typical humidity exposure across the year and is not a daily weather value.

The values come from maintained Nomadino climate normals and are checked against World Bank climate context, CRU TS, Copernicus ERA5, NASA POWER and national meteorological sources. For territories without their own series, Nomadino uses replacement values based on climate zone, coastal setting, administering state and regional comparators.

The highest ratings are assigned to a broad comfort range around 45 to 60 percent relative humidity. Lower values are treated as increasingly dry, while higher values are treated as increasingly humid or muggy. This prevents both desert dryness and persistent tropical humidity from being treated as automatically ideal.

The raw value remains visible as a percentage. The rating converts it through a comfort curve, so a higher raw value is not automatically better.
